Others will try it – - and discover it works.
Divide your dryer sheets by thirds. You could take a box and cut each sheet into thirds, or simply rip them as you go (like I do).
Seriously, I started doing this at least fifteen years ago. For large loads during static-rich weather (Santa Ana winds, for instance), I use half a sheet. Never a whole. No need. Savings add up over the years. . . . Try it.
