The Caregiver Coalition of San Diego and the City of San Diego are hosting an educational seminar tomorrow (April 5) in Rancho Bernardo. Designed to help seniors, their relatives and caregivers find out about available resources, the free educational seminar called “Back to the Basics Caregiving 101″ will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 5 in the Rancho Bernardo-Glassman Recreation Center, 18448 W. Bernardo Drive.
A total of 18 organizations that work with seniors will be on hand. The seminar will feature a continental breakfast, various giveaways, resource booths and educational seminars. There are lots of other things going on in Julian on the weekends as well. Western street theatrics, homemade apple pie – - and this year, maybe even a little snow left from last weekend’s storm (?)!

At the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum, March 24 and 25, you can look at some of this Escondido-based club’s gems, minerals, fossils, and lots of sparkly items. The kids will have fun with special children’s activities. There’s even a raffle.
